- Dr. Neha Singh(Library Chair Person)
Dr. Neha Singh (Library Chair Person) is an Assistant Professor in Business Communication and Liberal Arts, with a deep engagement in migration and diaspora studies. She is a member of the International Scientific Committee - Indian Ocean Committee, Indentured Labour Route Project. Her academic contributions include publications in reputed international journals and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Aapravasi Ghat Trust Fund's newsletter. She has co-edited the volume Literature of Girmitiya: History, Culture and Identity (Palgrave Macmillan, 2023), Girmitiya Culture and Memory (Palgrave Macmillan 2024) reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to history, literature, and identity. A recipient of the prestigious ICSSR data collection abroad award, she was also awarded an ICSSR-funded research project in 2023. Her research interests span migration and diaspora, gendered migration, slave narratives, and cultural production. Dr. Singh believes that reading books opens new windows into the lived experiences of displaced communities-her curiosity was particularly sparked by a book on South Asian religions on display, which deepened her interest in understanding the interplay of faith and identity in diasporic societies.
- Dr. Jitender Singh, Deputy Librarian
Dr. Jitender Singh is an accomplished Library and Information Science professional with over 13 years of diverse experience in academic libraries of Govt. and private Universities, currently serving as Deputy Librarian at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Rajasthan. His area of interest is information-seeking behaviour, Information retrieval, IPR. He holds a master's in business administration & mass communication from GJUS&T Hisar and Doctorate in Library and Information Science and earned a PG Diploma in Library Automation & Network (IGNOU). And earned a Certificate in IPR, Wipo- Geneva. A design patent on Ai based device for library books classification. His expertise in digital library, e-resources management, digital archiving, and cloud-based library services. Dr. Singh is highly skilled in library automation using KOHA, LIBSYS, SOUL, and other ILMS tools. He has successfully automated multiple university libraries, managed large-scale resource subscriptions, and contributed to quality initiatives such as NAAC- SSR preparation and regulatory inspections for ICAR, BCI, PCI, and UGC.
His work emphasizes innovative library services, also patent open access, cloud computing, RFID implementation, and the integration of digital content management systems. He has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences, book chapters, and the book Cloud Computing: An Innovative Approach to Modern Library. He remains dedicated to advancing library services through technology, professional training, and research to support academic excellence and knowledge dissemination.
- Miss Rashi Maheswari, Library Assistant.
She has completed Master of Library and Information Science from University of Delhi. Her Masters thesis topic was "Bibliometric Analysis of QR Code in Social Science Domain."
She has an O Level & CCC certificate from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT). She is familiar with library management systems, database management, and other technological tools to enhance library services. She also have a good command on C Programming Language, KOHA, Libsys, and Greenstone library software, E-Granthalaya Mendeley, Zotero.
Her fields of interest are Information Communication Technology, Internet and Web Application. She is Passionate about fostering a culture of reading, supporting literacy initiatives, and creating a welcoming and inclusive environment within the library.
- Ms. Palak Dulwani, Library Assistant
Ms. Palak Dulwani is currently serving as a Library Assistant at the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur Campus. She embarked on her journey in library science after completing her master's degree in library and information science from the University of Lucknow. In addition to her academic credentials, she holds certifications in ADCA, CCC, and has successfully qualified the UGC-NET examination.
With over two years of diverse experience working in various libraries, she has developed a strong interest in emerging technologies in the field, particularly in digital archiving and data management. She remains actively engaged in professional development by attending workshops and conferences, staying informed about the latest trends and advancements in library science. Committed to promoting literacy and lifelong learning, she is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on her community through her work.
